DEW initiated the Granite Mining Project, Nagarparker district, Tharparker aim of socio-economic uplift of Tharparker populace and increasing the pie of Granite industry in Mining Sector

Nagarparker Granite is the oldest ingenious rock (Pre-Cambrian Age) in Pakistan being about one million years old. The granite, being of premium quality is used to impart a high aesthetic finish for sculptors, commercial buildings, and premium residential structures
