Chapurson Metal Mining Project
(CMMP)

Another landmark project of MEDO at the high altitude in Chapurson Valley, Gilgit Baltistan. Exploration in this tough environment was really challenging and hazardous. However, MEDO has successfully completed Geological and Geophysical as well as core drilling on this project. During the exploration phase, MEDO has served the local community also by hiring local manpower and vehicles. In addition to creating jobs for the local populace, various community support programs like free medical camps have also been setup for wellbeing of local community

Project Progress

CMMP began in June 2019 and is still in progress. We have already carried out Geological & Geophysical Surveys and Core Drilling in the area. Currently, resource estimation, mine design and planning is in progress
